Metal masher
This little slice of Larimer Co. pavement served as today's training ground. Simple structure today. Coach had me doing five 3 minute climbs up this road. The kicker was the that the climbs were to be done over geared at a slow rpm.....between 40-60 rpm.
The climb was steeper at the bottom than it was at the top. I managed to average around 55 rpm for all the intervals while also dodging some nasty McDonalds french fries littered on the side of the road. This is good little grunt workout. Pretty much every single muscle fiber is forced to fire to order to get your butt up the hill and keep the bike moving forward.Pedal strokes of anger!
