More local trail BETA.

It's damn near 80 degrees here today! What perfect weather/conditions to go out and play on the trail and search out a few more training grounds.
Hooked up on Blue Sky first on my over to Horsetooth Mountain to find some sustained climbing.
I found it! Sustained climbing that is. Fireroad climb all the way to the base of horsetooth rock. Starts out very mellow....then gets loose and steep.
Topped out just below horsetooth rock....which is directly behind me when I took this photo. From here it's single track over to the radio towers.
Uh, someone loose a cow? Not sure how or why it is in the park. It's the only one I saw. Moo.
Back to the singletrack on my way to the top where the radio towers are.
Bingo! The top and the towers at 7700 ft.
Looking east over Fort Collins.......to Nebraska.
Looking west. Looks like some primo dirt roads down there as well. Have to go find those.
Nothing left to do now but haul ass downhill back to the house.
Wednesday's weather is supposed to similar to today. Depending on the training schedule and the arrival of the Beyond Clothing, I might take a hike up to Chasm Lake in RMNP after the days Ergon tasks are finished. Speaking of Beyond Clothing....I see they now have custom Gore-tex. How cool would that be for some mountain epics on and off the bike.
