What's on Tap...

Yesterday was 2 hours of tempo riding on the road bike. I met up with JY for 1 hour in the park followed by another hour by myself on the trail system within the city limits. Today will be work followed by hill work...sprints...and the local road group ride. Legs feel good, so I hope to do some damage tonight. Rumor has it that the road ride on Tuesday night was lights out. Rarely did the pace drop below 23mph! People made the comments that they were getting shelled out the back of the group at near 36mph! Hmmmmm, I wonder who was pulling. Kisch? Super Dave? Reed? Fry?

Next weekend is the 12 Hours of Metro in Milwaukee, WI. I am ready! Heading over on Friday...might pre-ride....crash at the ultra hip Econo Lodge near the airport...get up Saturday....race. Chuck and buddy are heading over also. Might meet up with them for the pre ride.

Speaking of Chuck...he sent me an e-mail with a link to a 12 hour race in late June. Looks pretty tempting. It's in North Dakota up by Bismark. Lots of money to be had! Check it out!

Then I found THIS. Looks even better! More climbing. Longer laps. Not in the boonies.

Other than that, not much going on. All I am hoping for the next few days is to finally build up the new Giant NRS Air. [finger and toes crossed]

Time to get ready for work.
