New G-Ride.

Well, I finally got all my gear from my very, very, very generous sponsors. Yeah, it took like 4 months to get everything, but I can deal with it. The final result is one fine piece of carbon fiber machine ready to battle the endurance scene from coast to coast.

And now some pictures!

BIKE
The final result in all it's glory. It just begs to be rage'd on.

CONTROLS
A view of the controls. SRAM X-9 trigger shifters...Ergon grips...Hayes HFX-9 disc brakes with carbon fiber levers...TruVativ Team 31.8 diameter bar and stem. Don't forget the ultra plush FOX RLT 80.

REAR DER
X-9 rear der and Cole center lock wheel. Never mind the non-Maxxis tires. These WTB tires are for training only.

DRIVE TRAIN
The lead power source...TruVativ Stylo GXP Crankset with the ultra stiff external bottom bracket bearings...Shimano pedals...SRAM chain

The bike is set and ready to go. I need to get out on it this week a few times to make sure everything is dead on...in terms of fit... for the 12 hour race next weekend in Milwaukee, WI.

In other news...
Spent all day at the shop. I used the commute via the Surly as my recovery ride today, since my shortest ride all week was around 3 hours. The shop was waaaaaaaaay slooooooooow today due to the all day thunder storms that rolled through. We stayed busy, assembling bikes and helping the few folks that dropped in for some much need bicycle knowledge.

Tomorrow is an AM hill and interval workout before work at noon. If you care to join me e-mail me before 8 AM for the details.

Out.
