Huge Week Ahead.

Today (Sunday) is the start of a huge week of hours on the bike. For the next 6-7 days it will be two-a-days. It's time to stress the system a bit....must...learn...to...adapt. This AM I am heading out for some road miles. I am not sure who is joining me, but I will find out when I swing by Bike Tech on the way out of town. Hopefully atleast one person comes out with me. I am planning on joining Mr. JY in the AM if he is heading out this week. So, if you are reading this JY, e-mail me your riding plans. I will join you. So, as said before, this week will be long and hard with a week easy following the lead up to the 12 Hour race in Milwaukee, WI.

Today is another day at the shop. Yesterday was way slooooooooow. It was because of the gale force NW winds and sub-50 temps. Everyone around here is a fair weather cyclist.

I am trying to find a 24 hour event to do in June. The only races close are in Colorado and New York. Why are there no 24's in the Midwest till late in the year? Makes no sense to me. I really want to go to the 24 Hours of Steamboat. What are your travel plans Kona boys? Are the parental figures interested in driving to Steamboat, CO? It's crazy, that course has 3,000 ft of climbing per lap...DAMN!

Well, it's time to finish the pot of the black goodness, then suit up in some warm cycling gear...it's 37 degees as I type this. Gots to get in the 3.5 hours of bike time in this AM before work. Does anyone else say THIS when they take that first refreshing sip of coffee inthe morning?

Ti frame frabricator, Matt Chester, made a mention and write up on his thoughts of Trans-Iowa. CHECK IT OUT.

I wonder how Solo Goat did in the 8 hour race in Michigan?

Out.
