Good to go!
T-Minus 1 full day and some odd number of hours till the start of the 12 Hours of Metro on Saturday. All the bikes are ready to go. I took the new one out today for some trail love after work. Played around with different air pressures in the front and rear FOX shocks. Also got the Ergon grips set to the right angle and the seat close to where I want it. I forgot how much I like hydro disc brakes. The new Hayes feel awesome, and the carbon bling, bling levers are happy when they meet your finger.
Now I am throw'n down some food and a high electrolyte cocktail. Should be good and fueled to go. Tomorrow I will get up pack up the Mazda P5 with all the gear...head to the shop to put my Maxxis tires on my primary race bike...the head off to Milwaukee around 10:00 AM.
So this looks to be all for now. Next post should be after I get back from the event on Sunday in the early afternoon.
GO, SLOANE, GO! He's going to be rage'n at 24 Hour Solo Nationals in Spokane, WA. Look for the Cateye Enduro Team to be hang'n out on the podium this weekend.
This is really funny is you are a frequent user of public trail systems...i.e. GW paved trail system. CLICK HERE TO GIGGLE OUT LOUD!
