New Bling!

ff-NRS-Comp

Awesome news! The fine folks over at Giant ( THANKS STEVE!!!!!) just handed me a new Giant NRS composite frame to race on this year. Schweeeeeet! So for 2005 I will have 2 identical bikes, which is a "must" for successful endurance racing. The NRS line from Giant is "right-on" for the solo efforts. Light weight...bump sucking carbon...3 inches of rear travel...rides like a hard tail when it needs to...and is plush when it needs to. Now, if it only made the coffee in the morning and scratched your back.

Did the roller workout tonight. Felt really good! I was on top of the big gears and the leg speed was high. It's always a confidence builder when you can throw the 53T with high rpm. Here is the workout.
30 min warm up
5 min interval
2 min recov.
6 min interval
2 min recov.
7 min interval
2 min recov.
8 min interval
30 min cool down.

Tomorrow I hope to get in 4-6 hours on the road before work.

There is going to be a ride on Sunday! On the road if it's dry. On gravel if it's wet. So far it looks to be me and Mr. Raleigh. Carlos? Ed? You guys up for some fun?

Out.
